Lauren and Andrew met me in Downtown Norfolk for their engagement session. Lauren and I have known each other for fours years now, and she is such a special friend that is so close to my heart. We've also come to realize that her fiancé, Andrew, and my husband, Adrian, are two peas in a pod also! My friends are very important to me, so I am thrilled to be able to photograph them.
We visited several places in downtown Norfolk; we definitely got our steps in for that day! We also discovered some really unique places that we haven't been before. Looking at the photos, you'll see that downtown Norfolk has a variety of scenic views ranging from cobblestone streets to the Chinese-inspired pagoda.
Lauren is stunning, and her ring is a classic, vintage piece that truly shows off Lauren's elegance. Andrew was also very relaxed during the whole session, which was so great to see. The photos turned amazing, and I can't wait to share them with you all.

"I feel like I could not say enough great things about this photographer and the experience! We booked her for an engagement photoshoot and I have heard many great things about her but was so astonished!! This was such a carefree process that made my fiancé and I feel incredible! The day of our photoshoot she went to the location early and mapped out an organized list of potential locations and their possibilities - in addition to the location’s safety, permission and cleanliness, she got to know my fiancé’s and my personalities (which are pretty different) and within her locations found a way to meet the best of both of us! We shot around downtown Norfolk… And you would have never thought we were in the middle of a big city… she made it look like a fantasy world built for him and I! I am ecstatic with the locations she chose and how much variety I have in my photos… we have everything from clean and modern down to rustic and historical! At each location she had an “inspo poses gallery” that he and I were able to look through… This was awesome when we were having a hard time finding a pose, but she also wasn’t forcing us into the poses! So if one of them didn’t work for us she found a way to make it more comfortable and natural! I honestly cried when she gave us all of the digital files… I still get to choose some to print (included in person package)! And that was just the experience of the photoshoot alone, prior to the photoshoot she communicated with me about outfit ideas, make up, hair, what time of the day would be better for us, etc etc… And even when I started to panic about what to wear and have my fiancé wear she had a style guide emailed over to me within the day to help us find the perfect attire! She was also so kind as to meet us a little early and go over everything we picked out! Again I have heard truly wonderful things about her but I was not expecting such an amazing experience! It was easy, carefree, organized and planned out! I did not feel like we wasted any time and she was able to get us so much in an appropriate length of time! Not to mention my fiancé, who is not a fan of photo shoots, had a great time the entire day and never crashed on us! She kept it light and fun, we laughed and joked as if we were friends but she still kept a professional manner! I am so impressed and I will cherish these photos for the rest of my life! She truly captured us and I cannot be more thankful…"
