Maternity Photos at Rankin Lake in Gastonia, North Carolina

I am especially excited to show off this gallery! Jaleesa has been my friend for thirteen years- since I was in fifth grade! We grew up together, shared secrets and laughs together, and talked about the future together! Now that we're in the future, she's a beautiful mommy to be! Josh and Jaleesa are expecting their baby boy, Josiah, in March! We celebrated their new arrival at their baby shower shortly after their maternity session.

We took their photos at Rankin Lake in Gastonia, North Carolina. The day started off dark and gloomy, until Jaleesa, Josh, and baby Josiah showed up. As soon as they stepped out of their car, the dark skies parted and the sun started shining! You think I'm lying, but Jaleesa and I were texting back and forth possibly talking about rescheduling and being so sad we might not get to shoot because the weather looked like it was about to rain. If that isn't a sign of true love from the Father above, then I don't know what is!
