Walk Through From Booking to Delivering Your Wedding Images

Ever wondered what it looks like to work with me from booking to final image delivery?

I'm the type of person that like to get an idea of what I'm walking into before I purchase something. Even when I'm at the food court at the mall, I have to have those food samples before I decide on what I'm going eat. So if you're anything like me, you need to know what you're getting into before you get into it!

I wholeheartedly believe that communication is key to having a stress-free wedding planning process. That is why I want to give you clear expectations on what to expect from me as we go through this process together!

Booking Process

Yay! You've decided to book with me, yaassss! My entire booking process is online and super easy, so no need to stress about that. After you press that send button on that initial email letting me know you'd like to work together, I will then respond with each of my wedding packages and add-ons that you can choose from.

It is important to let me know what your ideal budget is for photography and some key items you have to have in your package! That will play a lot in choosing which wedding package/add ons are right for you.

After we talk through the packages, an invoice and contract will then be sent to your email. On your invoice, you will be able to clearly see your payment plan laid out for you and when each payment is due. You can pay your 25% initial payment and sign your contract all from your phone. Once you've done both things, you can take a big sigh of relief and cross another big thing off your to-do list!

By this time, you'll have my phone number and I will be available for any questions or concerns you may have. Use me as a resource! Whether you need help with vendors or simply need some feedback on a certain question, I am there for you.

3-6 Months Before Wedding Day

This is around the time you will start thinking about your engagement session and sending out your invitations for your wedding. Your engagement session doesn't necessarily have to be 3-6 months before your wedding date, as this can vary by seasons how far in advance you book, but it's a good idea to start thinking about your engagement session around this time!

60 Days Before Wedding Day

Now we need to talk about the specifics and timeline you have for your big day. I'll send you a questionnaire that you will be required to fill out. Since every wedding and couple is unique, this questionnaire is just to help me better prepare for your wedding day. The questionnaire will go over a timeline of a wedding where you can add in the different times the events within a wedding will take place. For instance, when would you have family formals taken, before or after your ceremony?

There will also be a shot list in the questionnaire. This helps me know specifically which images you absolutely have to have from your big day! Typically, I try to take every image from the shot list, but some things may not be as important as other things are to you. It is good for me to know what is important to you!

Four Weeks Before Wedding Day

The remainder of your payment is due four weeks before your wedding day. This eliminates having to wait forever to receive your images. If having all of your payments paid before hand, I can send you your images whenever they are ready. This will also take one more stressful thing off your list so you're not worrying about money during the busy days before your big day.

Two Weeks Before Wedding Day

This is when we'll schedule a time to go over your wedding questionnaire and make sure nothing has changed since the last time we've talked. We can chat over the phone, Facetime or even grab a cup of coffee, whichever you prefer!

The Day of Your Wedding

WHOO HOO! It's wedding day! Pop some champagne and order some Chick-fil-A! All of your planning has paid off and now it's time to just relax and enjoy everything you've worked hard for leading up to this moment.

Generally, I will arrive at your getting ready location an hour before hand to ensure that I have enough time to take all your details shots and getting ready images. No need to worry about your time line. Photography may feel complicated but trust me, the day of your wedding will flow smoothly.

The Week After Your Wedding

What better time to look at sneak peeks of your wedding than while you're on your honeymoon?! Typically, I will post 3-4 images from your wedding on my Facebook account!

A Month After Your Wedding Day

I usually get really excited about editing your wedding images, and should probably chill out, but I will have your images ready for you before your two monthaversary (most likely before that but don't want to promise anything just in case something happens). Most all of my reviews comment about the fast turn around time, which is something I take pride in.

Since every wedding is different and every couple is unique, this general time line may look slightly different for you. But don't stress, it'll still be smooth sailing! This was just a general idea of what to expect when booking with me. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me! |
